After getting spanked 10-0 in their opener, I think the Brewers come to play today and find a way to get the job done at the end of the night. Kyle Lohse was rocked by the Rockies, getting tagged for eight runs and ten hits over just 3 1/3's innings. Matt Garza was 8-8 with a 3.64 ERA in his first season with the Brewers and is 2-1 with a 4.94 ERA in five starts vs. Colorado. The visitors counter with Jordan Lyles, who had a decent overall spring, but who got destroyed in his final outing, giving up three runs over 1 1/3's innings of a 5-4 loss to Seattle on Friday. So is it time to crown the Rockies because of their impressive offensive display yesterday? And is it already time to hit the panic button if you're a Brewers fan? Of course not. I am personally not reading anything into yesterday's result and firmly believe that Garza holds the edge with the home field advantage today and that's more than enough to tip the scales in favor of MILWAUKEE.
