AAA's BIG-CHALK CHOKE-OUT (LAY IT & CASH IT!)
(MLB) Texas vs. Houston,
Money Line: -156.00 Houston (Home)
Result: Loss
This is a 6* BIG-CHALK CHOKE-OUT on the Houston Astros.

I have no problem at all laying the price on what I feel is a complete mismatch on the mound, a crucial factor which will result in a lop-sided outcome for the home side at the end of the night. Houston's longest win streak in nearly 11 years came to an end in yesterday's lacklustre 2-1 defeat, it would hit .291 and average 7.6 runs during a ten-game win skein though. The Rangers were just 2 for 15 with runners in scoring position, but the Astros finally had an off night at the plate, going 0 for 5 in the same situation, also failing to draw at least three walks for the first time in 13 outings. Wandy Rodriguez gets the call for the visitors today and he's 0-5 with a 5.82 ERA in ten games since his last victory back in May of 2013, most recently giving up four runs over 4 1/3's innings of a 5-2 loss to Seattle on Wednesday, walking five in the process. His counterpart today is Scott Feldman who is 2-2 with a 4.31 ERA and who despite one poor outing vs. the A's on April 13th, has looked pretty darn good in posting a respectable 2.73 ERA in his other four starts. Feldman most recently gave up two runs over seven innings in his team's 3-2, 10-inning win over the Mariners on Thursday. I am not reading too much into Houston's loss yesterday and conversely, I am not reading too much into the Rangers win; note that Texas had dropped five of six and allowed 21 runs over its last three before yesterday's victory. I'm giving Feldman the nod on the bump, the Astros the nod at the plate and that's more than enough to tip the scales in favor of the home side today, play on HOUSTON.
