AAA's 10* *Hawks/Wizards* Game 3 TOTAL BLOCKBUSTER!
(NBA) Atlanta vs. Washington,
Total: 199.00 | -105.00 Over
Result: Loss
Total: 199.00 | -105.00 Over
Result: Loss
This is a 10* TOTAL BLOCKBUSTER on the UNDER between the Atlanta Hawks and the Washington Wizards.
I look for this total to fall below the posted number once the final horn blares. It appears as if Wizards' star John Wall will be sidelined tonight because of a broken hand (if he does play, he'll be far from 100% obviously and I believe will be a non-factor) and suffice it to say, I think this will have a major impact on Washington's offensive chemistry. With its floor general side-lined, expect the Wizards to body up a lot more defensively today and to let this tough, swarming scheme fuel their offense. There's no doubt that we're going to see a lot more half-court sets from the home side while on offense and a slower-paced game = less shots and less shots = less points. Also note that Washington's other star guard Bradley Beal continues to play through a sprained ankle. Atlanta has looked better as the playoffs have progressed, but there's no question that it's struggled with consistency and it's play on the road has been a glaring weakness thus far as the Hawks would lose two of three at Brooklyn in the first round. Note that Atlanta has seen the total go UNDER the number in 21 of 38 this year after scoring 105 points or more and in three of five when playing with three or more days of rest. And note that Washington has seen the total dip below the posted number in 14 of 22 this season after allowing 105 points or more and in 19 of 33 when playing the role of underdog. Play on the UNDER.
