AAA's 3-GAME MLB DESTRUCTION PASS!
(MLB) Atlanta vs. Cincinnati,
Money Line: -131.00 Cincinnati (Home)
Result: Loss
This is an 8* play on the Cincinnati Reds.

A couple of hot hurlers face off tonight, but I think Mike Leake and the home side offer pretty good value here. Leake is 2-1 with a 2.47 ERA, while Shelby Miller is 4-1 with a 1.66 ERA. These two faced off in Atlanta earlier in the season and Leake got the better of Miller then as well, limiting the Braves to two hits over eight scoreless innings. Leake most recently went eight scoreless, scattering six hits in a 3-0 win over Pittsburgh on Wednesday. Leake has dominated the Braves throughout his career (both on the mound and at the plate), he's 4-2 with a highly respectable 2.03 ERA in seven starts vs. them, as well as a career .350 hitter with two home runs, three doubles and a 1.150 OPS. This obviously won't be a cake walk, Miller gave up three hits and struck out eight in a 9-0 home win over the anemic Phillies on Tuesday, but note that he's 2-3 with a 3.24 ERA in seven starts vs. the Reds lifetime. And note, the Braves are struggling on the road this year, they enter this series on a 2-9 run away from friendly confines, including a three-game sweep in Washington over the weekend. I'm going to give Leake the slight nod on the hill and the Reds the slight nod at the plate and that's going to be more than enough to tip the scales in favor of CINCINNATI today.
