AAA's National League "ASSASSIN!"
(MLB) San Francisco vs. Milwaukee,
Money Line: -135.00 San Francisco (Away)
Result: Win
This is a 9* ASSASSIN on the San Francisco Giants.

For the most part, MLB handicapping comes down to the starting pitching and in this case, there's no doubt who has the clear advantage, in my opinion this is great line value on the visitors. Madison Bumgarner is looking to win a third straight start and is 5-2 with a 2.84 ERA to open the year. He's 4-1 with a highly respectable 1.60 ERA over his last five starts after scattering seven hits over 6 1/3's innings in his teams 4-0 win over the Dodgers on Thursday. Note that the southpaw's 5.20 K-to-walk ratio and 1.58 walks per nine innings through nine starts are both on pace to be career bests. And that certainly doesn't bode well for the Brewers, as he's 1-0 while giving up one earned run over 15 2/3's innings of work at Miller Park for his career; in total, Bumgarner is 4-2 with a tiny 1.65 ERA in seven lifetime starts vs. the Brewers. The home side counters with confirmed gas-can Matt Garza who is 2-6 with 5.71 ERA this season. Note that Garza has been particularly horrible of late as well, going 0-3 with a 7.15 ERA this month, including consecutive setbacks after giving up four runs and five hits over 6 1/3's innings in his teams 10-1 loss in Atlanta on Thursday. Garza better keep his eyes on Giant's cather Buster Posey, who was out of yesterday's 8-4 series opening win, but who returns tonight with a 12-game hitting streak in tact. This is truly a mismatch of epic proportions, Garza would have to throw the game of his life to win this one and I simply don't see that happening today, play on the GIANTS.
