This is a 10* TOTAL BLOCKBUSTER on the UNDER between the Anaheim Ducks and the Chicago Blackhawks.
After a couple of high-scoring, over time shootouts, we're expecting a much tighter affair in Game 6 and we think we're getting excellent value on the lower-number today. This has been a crazy series so far and there's no reason to think that this pattern won't carry on today, but we feel that the conditions are now finally right for a classic goaltenders battle. The focus of this series has shifted from the men between the pipes to the skilled offensive players, but take note that Anaheim has in fact seen the total go UNDER the number in 19 of 31 this year after scoring four goals or more in its previous contest, while Chicago has seen the total dip below the posted number in 26 of 37 this season in revenging a loss vs. an opponent and in 20 of 30 after scoring four goals or more in its previous contest. I think the home side clamps down on the defensive end and looks to control the pace of this one from the outset as it tries to stave off elimination, in our professional opinion all signs do indeed point to the UNDER as the savvy move in this match-up.
