San Francisco won the opener of this series 7-0 yesterday and Hudson will look to keep the momentum rolling, the last time he threw at home he'd toss 6 1/3's scoreless innings on May 19th vs. the Dodgers. Hudson hasn't been at his best this year, but a date vs. his former team is more than enough motivation for the veteran today; also note that Hudson catches the Braves at an opportune time as they've dropped three of four while batting .189 and totaling 11 runs over their last seven overall. The visitors counter with Mike Foltynewicz who is 3-1 with a 4.25 ERA; Foltynewicz is coming off the best outing of his career after giving up oner run and three hits over 7 2/3's innings in his team's 2-1 win over Milwaukee on Sunday. But now the right-hander runs into a buzzsaw today as the Giants are tearing the cover off the ball right now, hitting .312 with 17 home runs and averaging 6.4 runs during a 12-2 stretch. I think Hudson and SAN FRANCISCO find a way to get the job done at the end of the night.
