The visitors hand the ball to Matt Harvey (7-4, 3.32 ERA) who went seven scoreless in a 3-2 victory over the Blue Jays on Tuesday, striking out six and walking no one. It was a nice bounce back after a rare poor stretch, note that Harvey is 3-2 with a 3.26 ERA in all road games this year. The home side counters with ace Julio Teheran (4-3, 5.07 ERA) who is coming off an outing to forget in which he gave up six runs off 13 hits over 6 1/3's innings, walking one and striking out three in the sub-par performance vs. the Red Sox. Teheran has to be liking his chances for a bounce back today though, he's 3-0 with a highly respectable 2.77 ERA in front of the home town crowd this year. With two of the league's most competent going head to head, I think that the writing is indeed on the wall and a classic pitchers duel is in the cards, play on the UNDER.
