AAA's BIG-CHALK RUN-LINE DESTRUCTION!
(MLB) Chi White Sox vs. St. Louis,
Point Spread: 1.50 | -220.00 Chi White Sox (Away)
Result: Win
This is a 5* BIG-CHALK RUN-LINE DESTRUCTION on the Chicago White Sox.

In a contest which I believe will be decided late or in extra innings, I have no issues at all in laying the price for the extra 1.5 runs of insurance in this one. Chris Sale (6-4, 3.02 ERA) will look to become just the second pitcher in history to record at least 10 K's in eight consecutive games and his team will be as equally as motivated after losing ten of its last 12 on the road and going 4-12 in its last 16 overall. Note that Sale's 34.4 percent of swings that miss is the best in MLB since 1999 and he has to be feeling pretty confident today though as he's 3-0 with a tiny 1.72 ERA in his last six interleague outings. The home side counters with Lance Lynn (5-4, 2.84 ERA) who has also been dominant against the opposite league, going 3-1 with a 1.02 ERA in six interleague starts at Busch Stadium. Obviously this isn't going to be a cake walk vs. the surging Cardinals but I think the combination of the red hot Sale and a desperate White Sox team on the RUN-LINE is indeed the savvy move in this contest.
