AAA's LATE-NIGHT BAIL-OUT BLOWOUT!
(NCAAF) BYU vs. UCLA,
Point Spread: -16.50 | -106.00 UCLA (Home)
Result: Loss
This is an 8* BAIL-OUT BLOWOUT on UCLA.

BYU has two come from behind victories to open the year but faces its stiffest test to date, when the smoke clears at the end of this one we expect the home side to find a way to get the job done. The Cougars lost QB Tayson Hill in the opener, yet still found a way to defeat Nebraska and Boise State on hail-mary passes in the final minute. BYU could easily be 0-2 right now. UCLA on the other hand is coming off quality victories over Virginia and UNLV respectively and with one last non-conference tune-up to go today, we're definitely expecting a lop-sided outcome. BYU has been getting the job done with tough defensive play, but the Bruins' offensive balance, led by QB Josh Rosen will be the best it's seen to date. Also note that UCLA has given up just one sack and has a premier back in Paul Perkins to complement Rosen. Suffice it to day, we simply can't see Cougar QB Tanner Mangum keeping pace this evening. Also note that BYU has allowed seven sacks in two games, which will help a Bruins team which only has one so far through the first two. Where UCLA's strength on defense lies though is in the secondary. And note that the Cougars have struggled in this spot over the years, going just 13-14 ATS in their last 27 non-conference contests, while UCLA has excelled, 11-8 ATS in its last 19 as a favorite and 6-3 ATS in its last nine non-conference games. BYU has been a fantastic story up to this point, but we look for the Cougars' luck to run out here, UCLA is simply too deep across the board and we look for this to be a major factor in the final outcome; all signs do indeed point to a blowout, play on the BRUINS.
