The beleaguered southpaw has endured back-to-back brutal starts and has posted a pedestrian 5.06 ERA in all "night" games this year. The home side counters with Roenis Elias (5-8, 3.89 ERA) who gave up two runs off three hits over six innings in an eventual no-decision vs. the Astros on Monday. Elias has looked good at times this year and poor in others and owns a 2-4 record in front of the home town crowd this season. For the most part MLB handicapping comes down to the starting pitching and with these two volatile starters squaring off against each other on Saturday night, there's no question that the OVER does indeed become worthy of a second look in this particular matchup.
