AAA's TOTAL WEST-COAST EXPRESS (+$21K NHL L2 YEARS!)
(NHL) San Jose vs. Los Angeles,
Total: 5.00 | -101.00 Under
Result: Win
This is an 8* TOTAL EXPRESS on the OVER between the San Jose Sharks and the LA Kings.

Both teams feel they have something to prove this year and we expect these bitter Pacific Division rivals to put the biscuit in the basket at a prodigious rate in the opener. The Kings will look to make a return to the postseason, after five consecutive appearances, including raising the Stanley Cup in two of the previous three campaigns, the team finished two points shy of the Western Conference's final spot last year: "I think guys are excited to get on the ice, because it gives us a chance to think about things other than everything the team has been going through," captain Dustin Brown said. Despite losing some key pieces, LA is still loaded with talent, including Jeff Carter (28 goals), Marian Gaborik (27), Anze Kopitar (16) and new addition Milan Lucic, who had 18 goals with the Bruins last year. The Kings also have to be liking their chances with goaltender Jonathan Quick back between the pipes, but we think he'll have his hands full today for this equally as motivated Sharks team which dropped four straight to the Kings in the 2014 playoff series after they'd taken the first three. San Jose will also be playing with a chip on its shoulder this year, missing the playoffs for the first time in a decade last season. And like the Kings, the Sharks are loaded with talent and sport a lineup which ranked second in the conference with a 21.7 power-play percentage. We're expecting a wide open affair with each team pushing the play and look for this faster paced game to result in a higher-scoring OVER.
