This is an 8* BLOCKBUSTER on the Atlanta Falcons.
No need to overanalyze this one in our opinion, all signs point the home side coming in focused on the task at hand, a factor which will result in a comfortable cover at the end of the afternoon. Tampa is one of the weaker teams in the NFL and is going to be in tough against the dynamic offensive duo of Julio Jones and Matt Ryan, who are in line for a big day vs. the vanilla Bucs secondary. Tampa has also been poor in stopping the run, we're anticipating another productive day from Atlanta QB Devonta Freeman. Jameis Winston is going to be in trouble today, he simply doesn't have enough weapons to compete with this tough Falcons' unit. RB Doug Martin is having another great year, but beyond this position, the Bucs' lack of depth is a serious issue in this spot. Note that Tampa Bay is just 3-5 ATS in its last eight "dome" games, while Atlanta is 4-2 ATS in its last six as a home favorite in the 3.5 to 7 points range. Play on the FALCONS.
