This is a 10* EAST-COAST EXPRESS on the OVER between the Washington Capitals and the Pittsburgh Penguins.
We had a play on the OVER in Game 3 and the team's would "push" after the Penguins won 3-2. With its back against the wall, we look for Washington to build off its two goal third period in Game 3 and to bring that type of urgency from the get go in Game 4. So far the Pens have been getting unreal goaltending from Matt Murray, but we think his huge numbers will start correcting themselves, note that the Capitals had 49 shots on net in Game 3. And remember, Washington finished second in the league in scoring with an average of 3.0 GPG and fifth in power play conversions on 21.9 percent of its chances. The Pens though will also be looking to make a statement today and to take a stranglehold on this series. Pittsburgh has been getting the job done on both ends of the ice, anchored by Murray and an offense that has averaged 3.63 goals in the postseason. Note that Washington has seen the total go OVER the number in 14 of 24 this year in trying to revenge a loss vs. an opponent, while Pittsbugh has seen the total sail above the number in 17 of 22 home games this season where the total is five or less. Expect Washington to finally break out of its funk and for this total to fly OVER the number as the game comes down the stretch.
