This is a 6* SITUATIONAL DESTRUCTION on the San Jose Sharks.

REASONING: Both teams come into this one struggling to generate offense, but we think this one sets up nicely for the home side. This is the opening game of a five game stand for the Sharks and a stretch of seven of eight at the SAP Center. They return home off a 3-3-0 road trip, opening with ten goals over the first three wins, but totaling just four in the three consecutive setbacks. New Jersey is just 1-2-0 on its current four-game road trip, most recently a 4-2 setback to the Kings on Saturday. The Devils simply lack talent on the offensive end right now as both Taylor Hall and Michael Cammalleri are out. Note that New Jersey has failed to score on the power play in its last eight games, going 0 for 26 in that span. The SHARKS look to take advantage of that and to avenge back-to-back losses to the Devils at home, most recently a 3-0 setback last March 10th. Lay the price.
