The Reds were just swept four games over the weekend in San Diego and didn't do too much offensively, but they get to add the DH for this one in the AL ballpark and face a struggling pitcher in Twins lefty JA Happ (3-3, 6.12).
Happ owns an 8.68 ERA since the beginning of May with hitters putting up a ridiculous 1.035 OPS against him in that span.
He is not just getting rocked but is giving up homeruns in bunches, and that gives Cincinnati a huge edge in this contest. Cincinnati has been feasting on left-handed starters of late, and I look for them to do just that here. The Reds are 8-3 this year vs. southpaws.

The Reds have the advantage in starting pitching, a very big advantage in fact. Mahle has been inconsistent at times, but he has allowed more than two runs just one time in his last five starts.
