We like the Colorado Avalanche to defeat the San Jose Sharks on Sunday at 8:07pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:
We've been unsuccessful playing on the Avs twice this year. But, that isn't stopping us from taking them this Sunday. They showed signs of greatness in their last game and should win comfortably against the Sharks.
Colorado have won nine straight games against San Jose.
The Sharks have lost eight games in a row since the end of last year. (winless this season.)
Macklin Celebrini is still out for San Jose. That's a huge blow for them as he's one of their top players, even as a rookie. Colorado is 12-3 in their last 15 games against Pacific Division opponents .
This could get ugly. Take the big fav.
