AAA's SITUATIONAL PITCHING MISMATCH! MLB PROFITS CLIMB!
(MLB) Cleveland vs. Detroit,
Money Line: -167.00 Detroit (Home)
Result: Loss
This is an 6* "SITUATIONAL PITCHING MISMATCH" on the Detroit Tigers.

Sometimes a favorite is a favorite for a reason and in this case I absolutely feel that Max Scherzer and the Tigers should be much bigger ones. Scherzer (11-3, 3.35 ERA) dominated in his last start before the break, his third straight win in beating the Dodgers 4-1. Scherzer scattered four hits while striking out seven and walking two over seven frames of work. It was the fourth straight outing that he'd lowered his ERA. The hard-throwing right-hander would pick up the win in the All-Star game as well, picking up two strikeouts in his inning of work, fortunate to get two runs worth of support in the bottom of the inning. The visitors counter with Zach McCallister (3-5, 5.63 ERA) who is being called back up after being optioned to the minors during the break. In his last start before the break McAllister gave up three runs on four hits with two walks over seven innings in a 6-2 setback to the White Sox on Saturday. Note that McCallister has been particualrly inept on the road this year, just 1-3 with a ballooned 6.46 ERA. Scherzer made the All Star team but for the most part flew under the radar in the first half, I think the defending Cy Young award winner is a bit undervalued here, I have no problem laying this price; play on the TIGERS.
