AAA's *UNLV/Arizona* TOTAL BLOCKBUSTER!
(NCAAF) UNLV vs. Arizona,
Total: 60.00 | -105.00 Over
Result: Loss
This is an 8* TOTAL BLOCKBUSTER on the UNDER between UNLV and Arizona.

Arizona went 8-4 and won a bowl last year after it opened the season with a prolonged battle for the QB position. This year it's been the same thing as four players were involved, and the final decision was given just a couple of days ago: Anu Solomon is the man. Solomon is a redshirt freshman and beat out three others in a tight race. Arizona head coach Rich Rodriguez said that the other three guys could all see playing time as well though: "As I told the quarterbacks last night, it doesn't mean he plays the whole game or he'll be the starter the rest of the season," Rodriguez explained. "But I also don't want any quarterback to ever go in there and think, 'As soon as I make a mistake, I'm coming out.' That's not going to be the case either." Arizona of course hammed UNLV 58-13 last year, easily covering the 14 point spread on the road, but the Runnin Rebels appear to be on an upswing this year after putting together their first winning campaign since 2000 last season. Note that UNLV has 13 returning starters. Of course, the biggest difference between this year and last, for both teams, is that Arizona will not have prolific RB Ka-Deem Carey in the line-up; Carey left as the all-time leading rusher for the school. This is going to make the Arizona offense a lot more one dimensional, UNLV will be able to safely rush the passer without getting gouged every single snap. A lot of new faces on both sides of the ball means less effeciency, and less effeciency means less points in my books, all signs point to the UNDER as the sharp wager in this contest.
