This is an 8* LAW OF AVERAGES on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

I played on Tampa Bay last week and it lost an embarrasing 54-16 matchup in Atlanta on Thursday night. I also played the Steelers last week and they'd go on to hammer the Panthers 37-19 on the road. So are the Buccaneers as bad as they looked last week? Are the Steelers are as dominant as they looked? In my opinion, the answer is clearly "no", for both. I think Pittsburgh comes back down to Earth here, it recorded 454 yards in last week's victory. And on the other side of the ball, the Steelers are having to deal with an injured defense, the unit lost LB's Ryan Shazier and Jarvis Jones; also note that CB Ike Taylor was lost after breaking his arm. Tampa Bay QB Josh McCown suffered a sprained thumb last week, meaning that Mike Glennon could get the start; Glennon threw for 19 TD's and nine INT's as Tampa's starter last year. Tampa also got some good news this week with the expected return of two key players in RB Doug Martin and DL Gerald McCoy. Note that Tampa Bay is 5-3 ATS in its last eight non-conference games, while Pittsburgh is just 2-4 ATS its last six as a home favorite in the 3.5 to 7 points range. I won't call for an outright upset, but do definitely feel that the situation the numbers and the trends all point to TAMPA BAY as the sharp wager in this one.
