AAA's ACC ATS SUPER-BLOWOUT! 3 STRAIGHT WINNING SAT. CARDS!
(NCAAF) North Carolina State vs. Syracuse,
Point Spread: 3.50 | -110.00 North Carolina State (Away)
Result: Win
This is an 8* ATS SUPER-BLOWOUT on North Carolina State.

Both teams have struggled this year, Syracuse is 3-5 and just 1-3 in league play, while NC State is 4-4; remember, last year the Wolfpack went 0-8 in the ACC and they are already winless in four conference games this season. But NC State is coming off a bye week and I think can take advantage of an Orange team that is licking its wounds after a tough loss at Clemson and expect the visitors to keep this one close enough to at the very least sneak in through the back door with the handful of points they've been afforded. The problem with Syracuse is that it hasn't been able to perform in the red zone; so far the unit has just 10 TD's in 27 red-zone chances (37 percent). NC State is dangerous, QB Jacoby Brissett is third in the ACC with 16 TD's and third in total offense with 248 YPG. The Syracuse defense knows it will have its hands full today: "They're going to come out with something, and we have to figure it out and stop it," Syracuse defensive coordinator Chuck Bullough commented earlier in the week. "They do a lot of stuff, and they're going to do something different. If we get flustered, we'll be in trouble." One strength the Orange clearly possess is the fact that they are the only team in the nation to rank in the top 10 for most fumbles recovered and fewest fumbles lost. However, NC State is one of the most disciplined in the country, the Wolfpack is ranked 10th nationally in fewest penalties per game. Note that NC State is already 2-1 ATS this year in true road games, while Syracuse is just 1-3 ATS in front of the home town crowd this season. The situation, the numbers and the trends all point to NORTH CAROLINA STATE as the savvy move in this one.
