Charlotte is coming off a high-scoring affair just last night, when the smoke does finally clear at the end of this one, I look for this total to stay below the posted number. Miami has won 16 straight over the Hornets by an average of 13.4 points and that streak is tied for the NBA's longest win skein by one team against another. Of course, that was when "The King" played for the Heat though. Miami had been averaging 109.3 points before shooting just 41.9 percent in last night's 108-91 setback to Houston. Miami looks to get untracked defenisvely against a team which is averaging just 84.3 points during a three-game skid and which has hit just 31.0 percent of 3-pointers. The Hornets are coming off a listless 100-91 setback at New Orleans last night. A great situational play in my opinion, the Heat are deflated, tired and will need to play with a concerted effort on the defensive end of the floor, Charlotte is just plain horrible offensively and comes in with "heavy legs" as well; all signs point to the UNDER as the sharp wager in this one.
