MLB 3-Pack
(MLB) Baltimore vs. Texas,
Money Line: 105.00 Texas (Home)
Result: Win
Play: Texas Rangers
Rating: 8*

The AL East leading Baltimore Orioles will travel to the Lone Star State to take on the AL West best Texas Rangers on Monday. The surging Rangers are back home fron an 8-2 road trip, and I think they'll build on that momentum home at Arlington tonight.

Derek Holland (5-5, 5.14) will take the ball for the Rangers. The left-hander has given up 10 runs (nine earned) in 8 2/3 innings over his last two outings (both on the road), but he had recorded four straight quality starts prior. Holland is 3-1 with a 3.33 ERA in five starts home at Arlington on the season and he is 5-2 with a solid 2.94 ERA in his career against the Orioles. He has the current members limited to a .213 batting average over 136 at bats.

The O's turn to Kevin Gausman (0-4, 4.14 ERA) who is still in search of his first win of the year. Gausman was tagged with six runs on seven hit in just three innings at Boston his last time out and he's 0-3 with a 4.78 ERA in six road starts this season and 5-15 with a 5.10 mark throughout his career. Gausman is 0-1 with a 3.68 ERA in three career meetings (two starts) against Texas. The current Rangers are 18-for-59 (.305) off him.

Rangers are 14-3 in their last 17 vs. a team with a winning record and 5-1 in Hollands last six starts vs. Orioles. Orioles are 1-6 in the last seven meetings in Texas.
