The Texas Rangers are 27-8 through their last 35 games and have been money as underdogs all season long. I think we're getting a terrific price on the red hot Rangers here in the Bronx Monday night.

Ivan Nova (5-5, 5.18) takes the ball for the Yankees. Nova has been torched for 11 runs on 18 hits and four walks through nine innings in a pair of meetings with Colorado in his last two starts. He has a gaudy 6.88 ERA over his last six starts and the right-hander's .292 BAA and 1.38 WHIP for the year are both pretty high numbers.

The Rangers hand the ball to Chi-Chi Gonzalez who's been recalled from Triple-A Round Rock to make his season debut. Gonzalez was 4-6 with a 3.90 ERA in 14 appearances, including 10 starts, in the big leagues last year when he posted an impressive 2.87 ERA on the road. The 24 year old has been pretty sharp in the minors lately posting a 3.71 ERA through his last seven outings.

Rangers are 5-1 in their last six games vs. a starter with a WHIP greater than 1.30 and an impressive 13-3 in their last 16 road games.
