The Cleveland Indians can not be stopped right now. They defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 4-1 last night to book their 13th consecutive win, and I think they're in a good spot to make that 14 on the bounce with Josh Tomlin on the bump Friday afternoon.

Tomlin has extremely favorable splits for this contest with a 5-0 record behind a 2.76 ERA in seven road starts this year and a perfect 3-0 record with a 3.79 ERA in three afternoon starts. Tomlin has the current Jays limited to a .214 batting average with seven Ks over 42 at bats.

Toronto turns to Marcus Stroman (6-4, 5.33 ERA). He's coming off an atrocious month of June as he was 1-3 with a bloated 7.76 ERA through five starts. Stroman's lone career meeting with Cleveland came in 2014, when he was lit up for five runs on as many hits in 1 1/3 innings of relief.

Indians are 10-1 in Tomlin's last 11 road starts and 8-1 in Tomlin's last nine starts when their opponent scores two runs or fewer in their previous game. The Jays have powerful bats, but the Tribes have plenty of bite as well and all the momentum on their side.
