The Toronto Blue Jays put on a real show when they defeated the Cleveland Indians 17-1 yesterday. My money is on the tonight's matchup with the Kansas City Royals to be a much closer contest, and I like the price we get on the Royals +1.5.
Aaron Sanchez (8-1, 3.08 ERA) takes the ball for Toronto. The 24 year old is enjoying a great season, but he's done his best work on the road. He's 2-1 with a 4.79 ERA in six home starts and he was tagged with six runs on 10 hits by Baltimore his last time out in front of the home fans.
KC turns to Edinson Volquez (7-7, 4.80 ERA) who shut out the Cardinals over 6 2/3 innings his last time out. He's 0-4 with a 6.46 ERA in six career starts against Toronto but threw six scoreless innings in Game 1 of the ALCS, a 5-0 Royals victory.
