Rating: 8*

The Toronto Blue Jays won eight of nine games heading into the All Star break, but they've opened the second half of the schedule with back-to-back defeats to the Oakland Athletics. I like the A's to complete the sweep Sunday afternoon with Rich Hill on the mound.

Hill (9-3, 2.25 ERA) is 1-1 with a 4.76 ERA in 10 career appearances (three starts) versus the Blue Jays, but he has their current members limited to a .167 batting avreage. Edwin Encarnacion is 3-for-17 in the matchup and Jose Bautista 4-for-24. Hill has posted six consecutive quality starts and I think the left-hander will come up with another solid outing today.

The Blue Jays turn to another left-hander in J.A. Happ (12-3, 3.36 ERA) who's been pitching well lately. He did however give up five runs on nine hits in five innings at Coors his last time out on the road. Happ is 4-0 with a 2.95 ERA in eight career meetings (six starts) with the A's but current Oakland hitters are batting a combined .277 against the 33 year old.

The A's have hit hitting three home runs in each of the first two games in this series, and odds are Happ will be in for a sweaty afternoon.
