This game looks like a trap, but I've finally decided to take the bait. Getting Chris Sale at this price is simply too good to pass up on. Sale (14-5, 3.16 ERA) is 7-3 behind a 2.28 ERA in 13 road starts on the season, all while limiting opponents to a .205 batting average.
The Fish turn to Tom Koehler (9-8, 3.83) who is seeing the White Sox for the first time. Koehler has pitched well lately with only two earned runs allowed through his last four starts, but I think it's fair to say that he's been overperforming and I don't see him outdueling Sale today. We can also note that Koehler is 2-5 with a 4.89 ERA in 10 afternoon starts on the season.
The White Sox are looking to sweep this series and they've won each of the last five head-to-head meetings. Take the White Sox at this excellent price.
