(MLB) Chi White Sox vs. Cleveland,

Result: Win
Play: Cleveland Indians
Rating: 10*

The Cleveland Indians' magic number for clinching their first American League Central title in nine years is four. That could happen this weekend if the results are their way, and I like the Indians to do their part of the job and take down the Chicago White Sox on Friday night. Indians are 8-3 in their last 11 during Game 1 of a series and the White Sox are 3-10 in their last 13 games following an off day.

The White Sox have lost five in a row and just want the season to be done with. Miguel Gonzalez (4-7, 3.83 ERA) is coming off three straight quality starts but he's still not a pitcher I would trust. Gonzalez has never lost to the Indians, in five career appearances (four starts) he is 4-0 with a 3.26 ERA but that's about to change.

Cleveland's Trevor Bauer (11-8, 4.24) has struggled lately but will need to step up his game now as season-ending injuries to Carlos Carrasco and Danny Salazar have seen him move up to the No. 2 role in the rotation. The Indians are 5-1 in Bauer's last six home starts.

The White Sox took three of four from the Indians early last week but they're just 1-6 in the last seven meetings in Cleveland. The Tribe will be looking to revenge last week's series, and with both the motivational and the skill advantage in this contest I really like the price we get on the home team.
