MLB *LATE NIGHT BANKROLL BUILDER*
Play: San Francisco Giants
Rating: 8*

The San Francisco Giants will close out the regular season with a three-game set against NL West rival Los Angeles Dodgers home at AT&T Park. The Dodgers have clinched the division while San Francisco is battling for a wild card, and I like the desperate Giants to take this game.

We'll have a matchup between two southpaws on the mound. Los Angeles' Rich Hill (3-2, 1.53) has been extremely sharp since coming over from Oakland, but the Dodgers have lost each of his last two starts, the most recent a 2-0 home loss to the same Giants they'll face tonight. San Francisco's ace Madison Bumgarner (14-9, 2.71) hardly needs a presentation. He was knocked around for five runs on four hits with three homers in six innings at San Diego his last time out. The Giants still won the game 9-6 though, and he had tossed seven scoreless innings of one-hit ball against the Dodgers in his previous start.

These are the kind of games Bumgarner excels in, and we can note that the Dodgers are 0-7 in their last seven road games vs. a left-handed starter. The Giants meanwhile are 8-2 in their last 10 home games vs. a left-handed starter.
