Point Spread: -4.00 | -103.00 Minnesota (Home)
Result: Win
Play: Minnesota Vikings
Rating: 8*
The Minnesota Vikings are experts at overcoming adversity and surprising both the betting public and the bookies. They're on an amazing 25-5 ATS run and off to a perfect 3-0 SU and ATS start to the season.
No Teddy Bridgewater? No problem, Sam Bradford has been excellent in his two starts throwing for 459 yards and three touchdowns and no interceptions. Star running back Adrian Peterson sat out last week's contest but the Viking's D led them to a 22-10 win against reigning NFC champions Carolina. A total of 40 points allowed through three games is very impressive.
The Giants are also likely to be without their starting running back, Rashad Jennings who sat out Week 2 with a thumb injury, and backup Shane Vereen could be out for the season. Add a ton of injuries in the secondary and I'm sure you'll agree that this looks like a tough spot for the Giants who are SU and ATS on the season.
Minnesota has lost six in a row on Monday Night Football, but don't make the mistake of underestimating this edition of the Vikings.
