NCAAF 3-Pack
(NCAAF) Texas Tech vs. Kansas State,
Point Spread: -8.00 | -105.00 Kansas State (Home)
Result: Loss
NCAAF 3-Pack
Play: Kansas State Wildcats
Rating: 8*

The Texas Tech Red Raiders sure know how to move the chains on offense, but the team has been pretty vulnerable on the defensive side of the ball and needs its offense to click in order to win games. That could spell trouble here with starting QB Patrick Mahomes II possibly out with a shoulder issue. The Red Raiders will come up against the nation's fourth-ranked defense that has allowed just 12.5 points per game on the season, and I like the Kansas State Wildcats' ground game to give the Red Raiders D plenty of trouble in return.

Kansas State gave up a up a 13 point fourth quarter lead and to suffer a 17-16 setback to West Virginia last week, but the Wildcats are 13-5 ATS in their last 18 games following a straight up loss and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games after scoring less than 20 points in their previous game. They lost 59-44 as a 5-point dog at TTU last season, but they're still 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings. Double revenge angle for this game and the Wildcats to win and cover the spread is a given play IMO.
