Rating: 8*

The Texas Rangers are 1-10 all-time at home in the ALDS and I don't think they got the right mentality in the club to compete in the postseason this year either. The Toronto Blue Jays won 10-1 here at Texas yesterday, and I like them to take a 2-0 lead in the ALDS with another victory Friday afternoon.

Left-hander J.A. Happ (20-4, 3.18 ERA) will take the ball for Toronto. He's coming off a career season and the Blue Jays are 21-6 in his last 27 starts. Happ held the Rangers to one run on six hits and a walk in seven innings of a 12-2 win back in May in the lone meeting this season.

Texas turns to Yu Darvish (7-5, 3.41) who's had an injury-plagued campaign. He finished the regular season strong with just one run allowed through 13 innings against Tampa Bay and Oakland, but keep in mind that those two teams had absolutely nothing to play for at that point. This game will be something completely different and the Jays sure looked zoned in at the plate yesterday.

The bounce back angle for Texas is a bit scary after Thursday's blowout loss, but I think the value is 100% on Toronto in this contest.
