Thursday Night Football
Play: Denver Broncos
Rating: 8*
The Denver Broncos will visit the San Diego Charges Thursday night. Both teams are coming off a loss, but I like the Broncos to be the team to bounce back with a big performance in this nationally televised game.
Denver is 12-4 ATS in their last 16 games following a straight up loss and 8-1 ATS in their last nine Thursday Night Football showdowns. The Chargers have virtually no home field advantage what so ever as they're a pathetic 3-12 ATS in their last 15 home games. We can also add that Broncos are 5-0 ATS in their last five meetings in San Diego and won 17-3 here at Qualcomm Stadium in December last year.
Quarterback Trevor Siemian (shoulder) is expected to be back under center for the Broncos after sitting out last week's loss to the Falcons, and I believe the Broncos' D will step up here against Philipp Rivers after allowing Atlanta's Matt Ryan way too much space in their last game.
