The Cleveland Indians took command of the ALCS with a 2-0 victory Friday night, but I like the Jays to even the score today.

Josh Tomlin (1-0, 3.60 ERA) held the Red Sox to a pair of runs through five innings of a 4-3 win at Fenway in the ALDS, but now he'll take on a Blue Jays team he's really struggled with in the past. Tomlin is 0-1 with a 6.10 ERA in two starts against Toronto this year, and he's 1-1 with a 5.53 ERA in five career starts against the Jays. We can also note that Tomlin will be pitching on shorter rest than usual and the Indians are 1-6 in his last seven starts with four days of rest.

The Jays turn to left-hander J.A. Happ (1-0, 1.80 ERA). He held the Rangers to one run in five innings of a 5-3 win at Texas in the ALDS, and he was 9-2 with a 3.43 ERA in 17 road starts during the regular season. Happ fanned 11 through seven innings of one-run ball against Cleveland earlier this season. In six career appearances (five starts) against Cleveland, he is 3-1 with a 2.86 ERA.

Blue Jays are 10-1 in Happ's last 11 road starts while the Indians are 5-11 in Tomlin's last 16 home starts vs. a team with a winning record. Let's go with a BIG PLAY on the Jays.
