NLCS Game 2 *Dodgers/Cubs*
Play: Chicago Cubs
Rating: 8*
The Chicago Cubs won Saturday's NLCS opener by an 8-4 scoreline, and I like the price we get on the Cubbies as an underdog to the Dogers and Clayton Kershaw here in Game 2.
Now Kershaw is arguably the best pitcher in baseball, but his postseason numbers are not all that impressive. We should also keep in mind that he was forced to come out of the bullpen and save the Dodgers in the last game of the NLDS, hardly ideal preparations. The Cubs can hit just about anyone and they've scored a combined 24 runs in their last four games. Combine that with the fact that Sunday's starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks is having a career year on the mound and the value is definitely on the Cubs.
Dodgers are 0-9 in their last nine NLCS road games, and I don't think even Clayton Kershaw can help them snap that skid when taking on the superior Cubs.
