The Indiana Pacers will host the Dallas Mavericks at Banker's Life Fieldhouse Wednesday night for their season premiere. I like the home team in this contest and I expect big things from the Pacers this season. The Pacers have brought in Al Jefferson, Jeff Teague and Thaddeus Young in the offseason to take some pressure off Paul George. The Mavs have brought in SF Harrison Barnes and C Andrew Bogut from the Warriors, but their other key pieces is not getting any younger and the team has looked sluggish in the preseason.
The Pacers took both meetings last season, including a 107-81 triumph at home on Dec. 16, and they're 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings in the series.
