The Los Angeles Lakers opened the season with a 120-114 upset against Houston home in LA on Wednesday. All set up for a let down game as they head to Utah to take on the Jazz Friday night, and I like the home team in this contest.
Utah is still looking for its first win of the season coming off a 113-104 loss at Portland. It was a close game though, and the Jazz played pretty good basketball. They're 5-2 ATS in their last seven games following an ATS loss and 4-1 ATS in their last five games against the Lakers who are 0-8 ATS in their last eight road games.
Utah will still be without small forward Gordon Hayward (finger), but power forward Derrick Favors might return from a knee injury. Either way, I think the Jazz will come out strong here in front of the home town crowd.
