The Atlanta Hawks will be looking to rebound from a 95-92 setback at Washington last night. Odds are they were overlooking the at the time winless Wizards, and I expect a strong performance from the Hawks tonight as they host the Houston Rockets. Atlanta has put up solid numbers on both ends of the court this season, and this is a big game for Atlanta center Dwight Howard as he'll take on his former team for the first time.
I'm not all that concerned about the fact that Atlanta played last night, and keep in mind that the Rockets are not in perfect shape either as four of their five games have been on the road. The Hawks are 4-0 ATS in their last four games playing on no rest and 4-1 ATS in their last five Saturday games while the Rockets are 0-9 ATS in their last nine Saturday games. Houston has the O to compete with Atlanta, but not the D and I think the Hawks will cover this spread comfortably in the end.
