The Minnesota Timberwolves have been widely inconsistent this season, and they have yet to win back-to-back games under new head coach Tom Thibodeau. With the Wolves coming off an impressive effort in Sunday's 125-99 rout of the Lakers I think that trend will hold true again and that they'll come up short tonight.
The Wolves are 0-4 ATS in their last four games following a straight up win, and they'll face a Charlotte team looking to get back in the win column after back-to-back losses to Toronto and Cleveland. The Hornets played decent basketball though, losing by just a combined nine points against arguably the two best teams in the East. Charlotte is 5-1 ATS as a favorite this season, and I think the Hornets will go on a rampage here when facing a lesser opponent.
