The Toronto Maple Leafs closed out 2016 with four consecutive wins, and I think they'll open the new year with another victory here at BMO Field in Toronto, Ontario. They'll take on a Detroit Red Wings team that has alternated wins and losses over its past six games, but playing on the road and outdoors here on New Years Day can't be ideal for the Wings. I don't expect motivation to be an issue for Toronto; "This has been a day circled on our calendar," Toronto center Nazem Kadri told reporters. "The venue looks brilliant. I'm excited to get out there."
