Tough spot for Chicago White Sox's James Shields as he was originally scheduled to pitch in yesterday's rained out contest. Detroit's Matt Boyd is more in sync and he was outstanding in spring training, posting a 2.10 ERA and fanning 23 through 25 2/3 innings of work. I think the Tigers' powerful lineup will get to Shields, just like they did last season when they knocked him around for 17 runs on 31 hits through 22 frames, and I like the price we get on the Tigers in this contest.
