(MLB) Cleveland vs. San Francisco,
Money Line: -120.00 Cleveland (Away)
Result: Win
Money Line: -120.00 Cleveland (Away)
Result: Win
Play: Cleveland Indians
Rating: 8/10*
The Cleveland Indians are still winless since the All Star break after three straight losses at Oakland. I think they'll have better luck on the other side of the bay as they take on the San Francisco Giants Monday night.
Cleveland's Josh Tomlin (5-9, 5.90 ERA) has had a tough season, but he is coming off a strong effort in an 11-2 win over San Diego on July 6 when he held the Friars to two runs and four hits in seven innings. The Giants are 2-10 in their last 12 home games vs. a right-handed starter.
The Giants hand the ball to left-hander Matt Moore (3-9, 6.04 ERA) who was roughed up for five runs on 12 hits in just 3 1/3 innings of a 6-1 home loss to Miami his last time out. The Indians are 6-2 in their last eight games vs. a left-handed starter.
