(MLB) NY Yankees vs. Cleveland,
Total: 8.50 | -110.00 Over
Result: Win
Rating: 8/10*

The Cleveland Indians will host the New York Yankees for the opener of a four-game series Thursday night. The over is 4-0-1 in the last five head-to-head meetings at Progressive Field, but I don't think we'll see many runs in tonight's matchup.

Corey Kluber (8-3, 2.90 ERA) will take the ball for Cleveland. He has posted a 1.91 ERA in five career starts against the Yankees. Kluber has been outstanding in recent months, compiling a 1.26 ERA in June (six starts) and a 2.62 ERA in July (five starts).

The Yankees hand the ball to Sonny Gray (6-5, 3.43 ERA) for the first time. He tossed six scoreless frames in a 5-0 win over Cleveland on July 14, and I expect him to come out very motivated in his debut for the Pinstripes. Note that he posted a 1.37 ERA through his last six games with the Oakland Athletics.

Under is 8-1-1 in the Yankees last 10 against a team with a winning record. Under is 7-2 in the Indians last nine against a team with a winning record.
