The New York Yankees opened the month with four straight losses but have now won three of their last four after putting an 11-5 beating on the Toronto Blue Jays Wednesday night.

Tonight the Yankees hand the ball to Sonny Gray (6-6, 3.41 ERA) who will make his second start for the Pinstripes since coming over from Oakland. Gray was charged with two earned runs through six innings at Cleveland in his Yankees debut, and I predict another solid outing from the 27 year old here. Note that he has the current Blue Jays roster limited to a .233 AVG through 116 at bats.

The Blue Jays turn to Marco Estrada (4-7, 5.12 ERA) who was tagged with three runs through seven innings at Houston his last start. Estrada has struggled with his control all season, and his 1.42 WHIP does not look good at all.

This edition of the Bronx Bombers have plenty of experience against Estrada, and several hitters have good numbers. Starlin Castro is 15-for-36 with five hits for extra bases and five walks in previous meetings with Estrada.

I like the Bronx Bombers to win by at least two runs here.
