James Shields (2-6, 5.72 ERA) will take the ball for the White Sox. The veteran right-hander has been tagged with eight runs on 11 hits and seven walks in 11 1/3 innings in his last two starts. He's 2-4 with a 5.88 ERA in nine starts home at Guaranteed Rate Field on the season.
