(NFL) Chicago vs. Baltimore,
Point Spread: 7.00 | -130.00 Chicago (Away)
Result: Win
The Chicago Bears lost 20-17 against Minnesota last week, but they're 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games following a straight up loss and I think they'll cover the spread here at Baltimore Sunday afternoon. Note that Chicago's rookie QB Mitchell Trubisky went 12-of-25 for 128 yards, one touchdown, one interception and one fumble against the Vikings, and I think he'll do better here in his second career start under center.

Chicago coach John Fox really has high hopes for the young quarterback: "He's got what it takes," Fox said. "There's no doubt in my mind. For a first game, I go back to watching guys like Joe Montana in his first game. I've seen a few of them. I'm not making comparisons at this point, but he will do nothing but get better."

The Ravens managed to defeat Oakland (who was without QB Derek Carr) last week, but Baltimore had really struggled on the defensive side of the ball in back-to-back losses to Jacksonville and Pittsburgh prior to that. Note that Baltimore has allowed an average of 345.3 yards per game in their last three games while the Bears have allowed only 280.7 yards per game. The Bears are ranked sixth in the NFL in total defense on the season and Baltimore is hardly an offensive juggernaut.

The Ravens are 5-16-1 ATS in their last 22 games in October, and I'm taking the points on the Bears in this matchup.
