CFB EVENING ENFORCER - VT@MIA
(NCAAF) Virginia Tech vs. Miami-FL,
Point Spread: -2.50 | -106.00 Virginia Tech (Away)
Result: Loss
The 7-1 Virginia Tech Hokies are coming off a pair of dominant wins. First they beat North Carolina 59-7 as a 20.5-point favorite before handling Duke 24-3 as a 17-point favorite. They're 5-1 ATS in their last six games after allowing less than 20 points in their previous game and I think they look like solid value here at Miami Saturday night.

The 7-0 Miami Hurricanes may own the FBS's longest current winning streak, but they've failed to cover the spread in each of their last three games. Here they'll run into the team that ranks second in the nation in scoring defense at 11.5 points per game, and I think the Hokies will run away with this game.

As a bonus we can note that Virginia Tech won last season's meeting 37-16 at home and that the Hokies are 6-2 ATS in their last eight meetings in Miami.

My selection is an 8* play on Virginia Tech Hokies.
