The Detroit Pistons won for the fourth time in five games when they held off the Knicks 104-101 at home Thursday. They're 4-1 ATS in their last five games playing on three or more days rest and I think they'll get the better of the Indiana Pacers here at Little Caesars Arena Tuesday night.

The Pacers are coming off a 123-119 overtime win over Brooklyn Saturday night as they had to dig themselves out of a big hole. That's been a common theme for the Pacers this season, and I'm not quite sure they have the grit and commitment necessary to do it again here after the Christmas festivities if they were to fall behind early.

The Pistons have failed to cover the spread in each of their last three games, and that's one of the reasons why they're not a bigger favorite here. My money is on the home team.
