The Chicago Cubs won the opener of this series 3-2 last night after scoring twice in the top of the ninth on doubles by Albert Almora and Addison Russell. The Braves had won six of seven prior to that setback, and I think they'll bounce back with a win tonight. Brandon McCarthy (4-2, 5.58 ERA) is 2-1 with a 1.11 ERA in five career appearances (four starts) against the Cubs while Chicago's Tyler Chatwood (3-3, 3.35 ERA) is 2-2 with a bloated 5.60 ERA in seven appearances (five starts) against Atlanta. Chatwood has walked 32 in 37 2/3 innings on the season and I think the Braves will take punish his lack of command.
